  • Mark,

I didn't get a new league file. Could you send that out before the next sim tomorrow?

    • Mark, I didn't get one either, so I can't update the web site until I have it.

Actually, if Jerry Udjur qualifies (as in, did not play prior to the trade) we'll nominate him. He was an all-star pitcher (14-8, 3.10) though he won't finish the regular season due to usage issues. If we make the playoffs though, he'll be back.
Just checked the encyclopedia and Ujdur has not played at all before this season, so is definitely a rookie.

              • Fergie got #299 last night. With three starts left, he may yet get to #300 this year. His next win gets him to the magic number.

                • --The Dust Bunnies are the big winner tonite, picking up a sweep while both the Knights and Hard Cider get swept. The Legends and Skipjacks both slip back to .500 and whoever ends up winning the Hulbert looks like they will be the weakest division winner we've ever had.

Mark - I needed to farm Christensen - please tell me he did not go over his usage limit in his last start

Had to look it up of course. The worst division winning record to date is 88-80, posted by the 1971 Iron. In order for either the Legends or Skipjacks to get 88 wins, they will have to win ten of their final dozen games - not very likely considering how both teams have stumbled the last month. Oddly enough, the second worst division winning record ever is the 91-77 mark posted by the Legends last year.

                            • --9 games to go. The Knights and Hard Cider are tied up in the Robinson race, the Skipjacks edge a game up on the Legends in the Hulbert, the Llamas stay within reach of the Ruth bye and the Boys stay in reach of the Ruth WC. New usage report included here. Expanded leaderboards will be available in the postseason award voting thread that will go up shortly.
