He shows as a free agent in my DM report, so I have to believe he is. Not a bad fourth starter (or even third) at a lot of innings for 250K!

Please DL Laskey for the Iron and call up Stoddard and place him in Laskeys 4th starter role.

--The Corsairs needed everything to go right to contend this season and things have gone very wrong early. Anybody signed/usefull only for this year is available for draft picks or players who will help starting 84-85.

    C Carlton Fisk (5.0, FA 79-82)
--All Star caliber season who could provide a nice upgrade for most teams
    1B Cesar Cedeno (3.0, FA81-82)
--solid starter at 1B or CF
    SP Dick Ruthven (2.0, FA81-82)
--league average inings eater who could solidify the back of a shaky rotation
    RP Mike Proly (5.0, FA82)
--good closer or even better in setup role
    OF Gary Roenicke (12.0, FA82)
--maybe my best player if you can fit him under your cap
    SP Nolan Ryan (15.0, FA82)
--my best SP, but price tag could be a problem for most trade partners
    IF Garth Iorg (.25, FA80-82)
--VG at 2B and 3B and okay with the bat
OF: Steve Kemp (2.5, draft 77)
--I have HTD discount rights so he would be slightly more expensive

    RP Woody Fryman (2.0, FA81-82)
    RP Vincente Romo (.25, FA81-82)
RP Ben Hayes (.25, 82 draft)
    RP Bob McClure (.25, FA82)
    RP Ricky Wright (.50, FA82)
    --good, cheap relievers

    IF Jerry Royster (.25, FA80-82)
--great platoon player or very good utility man

--The Hulbert starts to rise from their early season slumber, with the Legends and Badgers each picking up sweeps tonite. The Knights continue to roll, running their winning streak to 12 and claiming the league's best record. The Corsairs are doing their best to keep me even overall though, losing 5 in a row and 9 of 10.

--I did have one sim where the Legends won at 83-85. Normally the Skipjacks and/or Legends ended up in the 90s though.

Ummm... in doing the pre-season sims, did anyone have the Hulbert winner at sub .500? Just curious.
