Here is the process and results for the draft lottery:

1 - I entered each teams name in column A of an Excel spreadsheet equal to the number of tickets they had in the lottery.
2 - I then generated a random number between 0 and 1 in column B using the RAND function.
3 - I copied the range of random numbers and pasted their value in Column C.
4 - I sorted the columns A through C by sorting column C from low to high.
5 - The team with the lowest random number was given first pick, the next lowest number 2nd pick and so on.

The result of the lottery was as follows:

1st pick goes to Dust Bunnies (moving up 4)
2nd pick goes to Knights (dropping 1)
3rd pick goes to Legends (unchanged)
4th pick goes to Gold Sox (unchanged)
5th pick goes to Iron (moving up 3)
6th picks goes to Llamas (dropping 4)
7th pick goes to Beavers (dropping 1)
8th pick goes to Badgers (moving up 2)
9th pick goes to Jaxx (dropping 2)
10th pick goes to Thunder (dropping 1)

--Thanks Dan. Jack is the big lottery winner this year. Rich is the tough luck owner with the Llamas taking the biggest hit and the Beavers also losing a spot. I don't really mind losing the top pick this year. There is a guy I like best, but really there isn't much difference in value between the spot 5 or 6 players. Gonna come down to team need and/or what you like.

Yeah a pretty weak draft at the top this year.

Yeah, I took a quick look at the draft yesterday and it's pretty pathetic. I wish the Legends had picked a different year to have their worst season ever.....I figured the Jaxx would be picking far enough down, aside from really hitting it big, that it won't much matter. I will probably entertain trading that pick (and may offer the Legends as well) once I look at each team's needs and review who is available again.

--Quite a few players leaving from our championship club, but our remaining group is pretty much ready to contend "as is". With over 50M to spend on my few holes I don't expect to be active on the trade market this year. Well the Corsairs won't. Stay turned for the Knights who will almost certainly be continuing their rebuilding project this season.
