The wife and I are leaving for Crater Lake on the 28th so since the draft ended earlier than expected we will have opening day on the 27th. Rosters must be posted by the 25th still . . . as well as lineups.

Rather than rush things I am going to have to wait til I get back fom my trip to start the season - still have to do some edits to remove some dual player issues. I will send out a final pre-season DMB file ttomorrow with which everyone with the game can use to submit Manager Profiles.

Whew, glad to see that. I hadn't even seen the season thread come up and had done absolutely nothing when I saw it tonight (4/25) as far as lineups/pitching assignments. So I'm very happy that you're waiting until you get back to begin the season. I'll get my file to you in the next couple of days. I'll get to work on it as soon as you post the final file.

Have a great trip - and a safe one. I've always wanted to get to Crater Lake but I don't expect now to make it - at least not in this lifetime.
You see, you spend a good deal of your life gripping a baseball and in the end it turns out that it was the other way around all the time. J. Bouton

Here is the updated season file. I think I have all dual player issues solved. MP's are in for about half the teams. I will accept updated MP's up until Monday Morning 9:00AM PST. I will run the first sim on Monday Night and post the results probably tuesday morning. . . . In the mean time lets all try to get our rosters up on the rosters thread. (Myself included)

--After some test sims it appears to me that the American League is going to be very competitive this season. I really don't see a clear favorite. The Dragons won every sim in the National and the Sharks took the wild card most of them.

You do know Bone is only eligible as a injury replacement, right?

I have to agree with Mark. Based on the sims I've run so far, the NL appears to be the Dragons to lose (sorry guys, but I just call 'em the way I see 'em), with the Sharks the most likely WC entry. In the AL, I do have to say the Express have finished first or second each time, but never by a whole lot, and almost every team seems to have a shot. Side note to Ron and Joel - nice work, it would seem. Both of you, as newcomers, appear to have put together very competitive teams.
You see, you spend a good deal of your life gripping a baseball and in the end it turns out that it was the other way around all the time. J. Bouton

--Yes, most of my starters - including Elberfeld at SS - will play every inning of every game unless injured. I'll be platooning at C and DH and McGraw will need to sit some even if he doesn't get hurt, but otherwise injury replacement is all I need from my bench.
