At this point any of the six Kumquat draft picks are potentially open to trade.

Saturday Oct 31, 9 AM EST - Rookie Draft Clock Starts- draft thread will go up sooner and picks will be permitted as soon as it does.

              D. ROOKIE DRAFT
              1. The date, time and procedure for bidding for the rookie draft shall be set by the commissioner in a post to the off-season thread. The draft clock has time limits as follows: 24 hours for round 1 and 12 hours for all subsequent rounds.

A point for clarification...we probably need to look at these time limits. Currently 10 first round picks = 10 days plus 30 other picks = 15 days; this comes to 25 days. The current schedule allows only for 11 1/2 days.

This is the same schedule we always use and we have always finished ahead of schedule

1039 PDT the clock in Caesar's office mysteriously moves forward to the 1100 mark (the deadline set on the Gandil signing). Out of the corner of his eye, he thinks that he sees the shadows of Joe Jackson [email protected]@._V1_UX214_CR0,0,214,317_AL_.jpg and Eddie Cicotte [email protected]_V1_UY317_CR6,0,214,317_AL_.jpg outside the office door. Oh well thinks Caesar, Gandil will work at 1B in a few years.

It's official, 3 men out in Fargo - Chick Gandil is pick #6 of the rookie draft.
