        Louis Rodman Whitaker
        'Sweet Lou'
        Detroit, A.L. 1977-1995

1978 Rookie of the Year. 5x All-Star. 3x Gold Glove Winner. 4x Silver Slugger. Sure handed fielder who anchored second base in Detroit for 19 seasons while also providing consistent batting at the top of the order and helping bring the city its fourth World Series title in 1984.
