  • 2/23-3/14 BBF HOF voting thread

Let the voting begin! For anyone who has not participated before, please read the rules posted here

    The Rules

Those players receiving only one ballot in an election may go on to a list from which voters may only vote for a limited number of such candidates. For more details on this rule, please follow the above link to the Rules. For this election, you may not select more than two (2) from this list:

    Code:
    Burns, George
    Canseco, Jose**
    Lazzeri, Tony
    Long, Herman*
    Mathews, Bobby**
    Munson, Thurman
    O'Neill, Tip*
    Pinson, Vada**
    Smith, Reggie*
    Veach, Bobby**
For more details on this rule, please consult the link to the Rules above, and to this post: Limited Selection List

Also, please note that now ballots as short as zero (0) names are now permitted. However, if a voter intends to cast a ballot naming no one, this must be clearly communicated or the ballot will not count.

Voting in this cycle will end at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time, March 14, 2008.

Other information of note is who is in the BBF HOF.

Last month's results are posted. You are requested to pay particular attention to those individuals receiving 50% or more of the vote last election, as they are the most likely candidates to be elected this month. In fact, I have specific posts on players receiving 50% or more of last month's vote:

I decided to make some changes to attempt to get players voted in, then maybe some of my previous choices will get a chance. I still believe my original choices are better, but my replacements are also HOF worthy imo.

Koyama appears on a ballot for the first time. Jim has done some nice work on him, and his work forms the basis for my vote. He left two spots open on this month's ballot, but that was in case he wanted to push a candidate forward as a result of increased support. He does see Koyama as worthy of the BBFHOF.
