My boss has a ticket from the 1st Hall of Fame game played in Cooperstown June 12 1939. It's signed by Babe Ruth among a few others. However there is one signature that he cannot make out. Does anyone have the roster of the players that were there that day?

Thanks for any help someone could provide.

I don't know about rosters but I do know that Charlie Gehringer, Joe Medwick, Lloyd Waner, Billy Herman, Mel Ott, Hank Greenberg Lefty Grove, Dizzy Dean and Arky Vaughan played in the game.

Eddie Collins and Honus Wagner were the managers.

Thank you! I will need to go to E-Bay and see if I can find one of their signatures. Even the commentator from CBS Radio signed the ticket.
