This election is over. I decided to count Hardtack's ballot based on the plain inference of his ordering (i.e. even though Klein was listed first, since he was listed as no. 10, he gets 1 point). Here are the results:

    1) Pud Galvin - 53 (47 points, 6 votes; 2 first place)
    2) Billy Herman - 41 (36 points, 5 votes; 1 first place)
    3) Biz Mackey - 40 (35 points, 5 votes; 1 first place)
    4) Louis Santop - 39 (33 points, 6 votes)
    5) Early Wynn - 36 (30 points, 6 votes; 1 first place)

    6) Stan Coveleski - 35 (30 points, 6 votes)
    t7) Ted Lyons - 34 (28 points, 6 votes)
    t7) Edd Roush - 34 (28 points, 6 votes)
    9) Don Sutton - 33 (28 points, 5 votes)
    10) Max Carey - 32 (28 points, 4 votes; 1 first place)
    11) Earl Averill - 32 (28 points, 3 votes)
    12) Jimmy Collins - 29 (26 points, 3 votes; 1 first place)
    13) Andre Dawson - 26 (22 points, 4 votes)
    14) Joe Kelley - 24 (20 points, 4 votes)
    15) Frank Chance - 24 (21 points, 3 votes; 2 first place)
    16) Orlando Cepeoda - 22 (19 points, 3 votes; 1 first place)
    17) Hughie Jennings - 21 (18 points, 3 votes; 1 first place)
    18) Willard Brown - 21 (18 points, 3 votes)
    19) Joe McGinnity - 21 (19 points, 2 votes; 1 first place)
    20) Richie Ashburn - 19 (15 points, 4 votes)
    t21) Pete Hill - 17 (15 points, 2 votes)

I'm not really sure how to count this. Ar you ranking Klein 10th for one point or 1st fo ten points?

Here's a suggestion - How about expanding to 12 (or 15) when we get to the bottom 25% (which would start at 177)? I would propose giving one point for everyone list at 10 and higher on ballots.
    Yep, that would work.

Looking at people's ballots, we all seem to be fragmenting on the top 10, but listing similar players in queue.
