Mets going to cost Johan Santana the HOF?

As someone who lives in the NY area I have watched plenty of Mets games since moving here from Minnesota in 2002. The injuries haven't helped, but I've seen Johan after solid outings get loses and no decisions countless times since he's come to the Mets. I'm sure Mets fans will attest to this.

Johan's injuries are more likely to keep him out of the HOF than being on the Mets. If he continues to pitch like he has in his first 2 outings this year where he has allowed a grand total of 1 earned run and no wins to show for it, he will be traded by the trade deadline to a team like the Yankees, so this will be a moot point.
