    115 OPS+
    27.9 WAR

Gardner was considered a good defensive 3B, plus he was one of the best hitting 3B the AL has seen at the time.

      Dutch Leonard
A pretty good pitcher, Leonard is most remembered for his unlikely 1914 season:
      19-5 = .792
      0.886 WHIP
      0.96 ERA
      279 ERA+
      9.0 pWAR
This holds the major league modern-era record for the lowest single-season ERA of all time and 2nd highest ERA+.

      90-64 = .584
      1.136 WHIP
      129 ERA+
      25.7 pWAR

Leonard's postseason record is short, but impressive.
Playing only 2 games in 2 series, both were complete games with an ERA of 1.00

The nominations are closed, though we have to resolve if Johnson will be on the ballot or not.
Seen on a bumper sticker: If only closed minds came with closed mouths.
Some minds are like concrete--thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

No second for Ban Johnson, so he's not on the ballot.

The Sox have only five votes, inside of 13 hours from the close of voting. Since a minimum of six votes are needed to induct, there's a serious possibility no one will make it. If we got a sixth vote, there are candidates at five votes.

The contributors had only five ballots, and couldn't elect anyone (nobody had more than 3 votes, anyway). On the player side, we got a sixth vote, which was enough to get Ellis Kinder inducted. The results:

                              6 Ellis Kinder
