  • Angels BBF HOF recent actives election

I will provide lists of the candidates suggested by myself, dgarza, and jjpm for each franchise. These are not binding, but if anyone wants to vote for candidates not on the list, they probably should campaign for those candidates, or the fact those three likely voters have indicated it isn’t likely they’ll vote for unlisted candidates would likely doom those candidacies. The only restrictions on voting are first that candidates must have been active in 2010 or later, and that no voter may vote for more than 15 players or 8 contributors for any one franchise.

As with all other elections in this project, candidates are inducted if they get the greater of 6 votes or 75% of the total votes cast in a given ballot.

I will request that you list your candidates alphabetically within the player or contributor category to make it easier for me to compile the results.

    The suggested list of players:
    Chone Figgins
    Valdimir Guerrero
    John Lackey
    Francisco Rodriguez
    Jered Weaver

Seen on a bumper sticker: If only closed minds came with closed mouths.
Some minds are like concrete--thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.
A Lincoln: I don't think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday.

Weaver's 10-1 start to the season and his no hitter were just enough to push his career over the top into the yes category for me.

We currently are at five votes, one shy of what's needed to elect anyone.

Still stuck at five votes, with a week to go.

No one from this franchise could make it in this election, as we stalled at five votes.
