"(Shoeless Joe Jackson's fall from grace is one of the real tragedies of baseball. I always thought he was more sinned against than sinning." -- Connie Mack
"I have the ultimate respect for Whitesox fans. They were as miserable as the Cubs and Redsox fans ever were but always had the good decency to keep it to themselves. And when they finally won the World Series, they celebrated without annoying every other fan in the country."--Jim Caple, ESPN (Jan. 12, 2011)

I know its late but people are still submitting and I'm opinionated today
Sandy Alomar Jr. 0 - technically I should say 1 since some highlights but I took some to mean more than a season or two and the priviledge of being a Met
Jeff Bagwell 5 - my 4-6 1B
Craig Biggio 4 - kinda a 5 but he's back end of top 10 region 2B
Barry Bonds 5 - by the late 90s he was at worst #5 all time LF
Jeff Cirillo - 0
Royce Clayton - 0
Roger Clemens 5 - I'm really creeped out by this one
Jeff Conine - 0
Steve Finley - 1 classic complier, very solid player who spiked when things spiked and had a long career
Julio Franco - 1 I can't say "has a case" despite the batting title
Shawn Green - 2 these mid 90s-mid 00s spike guys just turn me off
Roberto Hernandez - 0
Ryan Klesko - 1
Kenny Lofton - 3
Edgar Martinez - 4
Don Mattingly - 3 (maybe a 2)
Fred McGriff - 4 OK maybe just to me but he was perhaps the premier sliugger from late 80s to the strike, several HR titles and to @ 1993 better rate and counting numbers than the great McGwire. Also a big late season acquisition pickup by Atlanta early in the 90s who had some post season moments albeit on losing teams.
Mark McGwire - 2 (see above)
Jose Mesa - 0
Jack Morris - 3 could be 2 and yes considring how snide I am about him maybe it should be
Dale Murphy (15th election) - 3 I typed 4 at first must have time capsuled back 25 years
Rafael Palmeiro - 2 even taking his jump from Mark Grace lite to Eddie Murray+ at face value he still finishes @ 15-25 all time for me at 1B
Mike Piazza - 5
Tim Raines - 4 though obviously there are doubts or he would be in but still
Reggie Sanders - 1 thought he was gonna be the next Eric Davis it never worked out that waay for either of them
Curt Schilling - 3
Aaron Sele - 0
Lee Smith - 2 I would say one because I am meh on "closeers" but he came a bit before that role got so stat oriented
Sammy Sosa - 2 I'm sorry but he's a fraud and its my opinion, at any rate he taken at face value doesn't crack my top 15 RF
Mike Stanton - 0
Alan Trammell - 4 see Raines, Tim
Larry Walker - 4 I like his 1992 season as the mark of his greatness
Todd Walker - 0
David Wells - 1
Rondell White - 0
Bernie Williams - 3
Woody Williams - 0
