sherry was calvin griffith's brother

calvin's parents had 7 kids - clark and anne griffith (who were unable to have kids) took in calvin and thelma robertson when their father became ill - they were never formally adopted but they did take the griffith name and lived with clark -- within two years of taking in calvin and thelma the robertson father (anne's brother) died and clark brought the rest of the family from montreal and bought them a house not far from his in a washington d.c. suburb - calvin and thelma continued to live with clark - eventually the whole family worked for the senators - the senators were never a rich club but it did provide clark and his extended family with a more than comfortable lifestyle
