  • All right, guys. You've convinced me. I did a little more research of my own and realized I've been underrating Paul Waner and overrating Dave Parker. I still do feel that Parker had a great peak, and a better one than Waner, but he is lacking on quality seasons while Waner had tons. Waner also had more career value. The only advantage for Parker is his peak, and it's not enough to outweigh Waner's career/consistency advantages.

    I still do think Parker deserves the HOF (certainly over Rice and Dawson) though.
