I am looking for any informationiabout a team called the Savannah Bears. The were an all black team from before the 1950's. The ballpark they would have playced in here in Savavnnah would have been Sportsman Park. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I could find no information about the Savannah Bears as a Negro League team. It's possible that they were a semi-pro team.

No info, sorry. If they were a negro league team, this site would show them. They did show a Milwaukie Bears, but even that team wasn't a major Negro League team. http://negroleagueshop.com/search1.c...savannah+bears
