Was there a Dodger pitcher who broke his arm throwing from the mound. This would be in the '80's. His name is said to be Brian Dustin. True or false?

Saunders originally suffered what was described as a spiral break of the left humerus on May 26, 1999 against the Texas Rangers. The second break occurred just above the other on the 33rd pitch of a scheduled four-inning appearance for the Devil Rays' Class A St. Petersburg affiliate, and left Saunders sprawled on the mound in pain.
tom browning and john smiley also broke their arms throwingLast edited by Brian McKenna; 02-19-2006, 12:00 PM.

Tony Saunders broke his arm pitching, then after healing and rehabilitaiton, broke it again while pitching in a minor league game. I did hear that last year he was trying to make a comeback, but he couldn't have gotten far because I've seen not one more word about him.
I remember when Dravecky broke his arm, too.h Pretty awful.

Tony Saunders is the one that was featured on ESPN a few months back, right?A lot of people say this honor validates my career, but I didn't work hard for validation. I didn't play the game right because I saw a reward at the end of the tunnel. I played it right because that's what you're supposed to do, play it right and with respect. If this validates anything, it's that learning how to bunt and hit and run and turning two is more important than knowing where to find the little red light at the dug out camera. - Ryne Sandberg
