          2019 Twins

All other seasons by the Twins are tied for 2nd place. I've been following the Twins since 1977.

                1) 2016 Cleveland Indians - this one really, really hurt
                2) 1983 White Sox - prepared me for much White Sox disappointment over the years
                3) 2008 White Sox
                4) 1993 White Sox
                5) 2000 White Sox
                6) Other White Sox years

                  Some nice choices.
For me? I like the story of the 89 giants.
2000 cards sweeping the braves with no McGwire and Ankiel sucking was nice.
02 cards getting revenge on the dbacks for the year before was great.
06 tigers had a mean pitching staff despite all their errors in the world series.

Of the teams I was cognizant of (after age 8):

                    2001 Yankees (ouch)
                    1981 Yankees
                    1997 Yankees
                    1995 Yankees
                    Tie between 1985 & 2017 Yankees

                    1985 Mets
                    1991 &'92 Pirates
                    1987 Cardinals
                    Early Dynasty Braves (1991-93)
                    1981 Expos
Last edited by layson27; 11-10-2019, 10:40 AM. Reason: Replaced 1987 Mets with '85 Mets and added 1992 Pirates

Yes. Yes they did. And thank goodness they did. Meant to put the 2000 Sox.

Well, the Expos have been taken, How about my favorite AL team and the best squad from my youth...great call Tarbusz. In burns less than the 97 squad since the Braves were a dynasty and the Marlins were frauds, but the 95 team was the best.
