  • Babe Ruth as an Oriole & LA Angel

Babe Ruth signed w/the Orioles of the International league in Feb of 1914, then was sold to the Red Sox in July.
question#1: any photos of him as a Baltimore Oriole?

I have a baseball card showing Babe Ruth wearing a PCL Angels uni, circa 1930. That's just an educated guess, as the Yanks weren't champs then & he could have barnstormed with Landis' blessing.
(I'm working on a scan & download, maybe there are some clues in the background...)
Q#2: Any idea of the history behind that?

Also: I'm aware that Babe played a barnstorming game in Oct 1924 in Brea and hit a (estimated) 600 ft homer there. The site is now a strip mall.

But I'm told he also played at Amerige Park in Fullerton.
That park still stands, on Commonwealth Av, right across from Fullerton City Hall.
Q#3: Any details/photos about that game?

          Babe's real rookie card...

I read somewhere that "Blue" card went for $199k.
There was a "Red" version in better condition that brought almost $250,000.
