This belongs in the History section.

    1. I assume the first question includes ALL RH hitters not just current.....with that said I say Rogers Hornsby.

    2. This one's pretty easy...Frank Thomas.

A lot of people say this honor validates my career, but I didn't work hard for validation. I didn't play the game right because I saw a reward at the end of the tunnel. I played it right because that's what you're supposed to do, play it right and with respect. If this validates anything, it's that learning how to bunt and hit and run and turning two is more important than knowing where to find the little red light at the dug out camera. - Ryne Sandberg

I would probably rank Jimmie Foxx #2, with Thomas a close third (could start a thread on that one). Bagwell, Greenberg, Pujols, McGwire (are you noticing a 1B pattern here?), Mays, Aaron, DiMaggio, Delahanty, Heilmann and the list goes on.

Red, it took me 16 years to get here. Play me, and you'll get the best I got.

I forgot to mention A-Rod. I expected his OPS+ to be higher but in fact it's only 145.

Honus Wagner should also be mentioned.

Actually, the best right-handed hitter ever, in any league, was likely Josh Gibson.

Yes, they are very gifted hitters too. But if we mention everybody, we honor nobody. Capiche? (spelling?)
