      I've definitely got Jimmie Foxx as my first baseman here, and Eddie Collins at 2B.

      The bench would have Mickey Cochrane and Arky Vaughn... not bad when you can get all-time top 5 players at their positions sitting on the bench.

        The pitching bothers me too.
        Keep in mind the A's were in Philadelphia at one time.

              Just going by 25-man roster rules. Forget about the ElHalo Rule. How could you forget Foxx and Maz? You can always count on Maz beating the Yankees with a game-winning home run.

                  I think I would take Robin Roberts over Schilling too.
