I am doing research on ticket prices of 1963 season, (Yankee Stadium). I believe the box seat charges were 3.50.

1963 ticket prices for Yankee Stadium:

Box seats were $3.50
Reserved seats were $2.50
Grandstand seats were $1.30
Bleacher seats were only 75 cents.

Another tidbit:
a box seat for the 1963 World Series at Yankee Stadium only cost $12.00.

There is a site called gasolinealleyantiques that has some old ticket stubs and schedules
Of course EBAY gets its share too.

Another interesting side note:

A 1953 Giants Polo Grounds Upper Box was $3.00
So ticket prices didnt go up that much in the 1953-1963 period.
