A-Rod and Bonds are good friends, as far as they've let on.
Even if MLB doesn't invite Bonds to the games, and whisk him around on a jet from city to city, they can't prevent him from attending - especially if A-Rod wants him there.
Same goes for Rose I guess, I mean he's free to go to games, right? Nobody's obligated to cover it or anything though.
I know this is a hypothetical anyway, but I see the Rose scenario as a non-issue because I don't see his record being broken, at least in Rose's lifetime. And, please, spare me the Jeter overtures here, or at least when reciting one, explain to me how he's going to be offered a chance to be a player/manager for like five years, insert himself first base and get away with it while swinging the stick like a washed-up Jason Kendall.THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT COME WITH A SCORECARD
