  • Black Sox papers?

Within the last year a collection of papers from the Black Sox scandal were auctioned off, were the contents ever made public?

Sure it will be - the winning bidder was the Chicago History Museum.

Papers are probably being sorted, preserved, examined and researched at this time. Some are on line above and below.

    Per the article:

will be available to the public...A complete copy of the papers also will be provided to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y., Mastro and Hall of Fame officials have said.

thanks for the info and the quick reply, I am thrilled to see that the museum got the papers and they did not fall into the hands of a private collector to be stashed away.
