      Of those listed, I voted for Dick Allen. I forgot what a beast he was at the plate. Thomas 1994 was beast, but I'm not sure if his OPS+ would be anywhere near that high if the strike didn't happen. I would have replaced 1994 with 1997 for Thomas.

              I believe that "Big-League Banana Salesman" line is in reference to Zeke's nickname, which was "Banana Nose".
