forgive me if this is posted in the wrong section. i am interested in joining SABR but i'm a little confused about the calendar year membership. would i be better off waiting until jan '09 to join or can i join now and will it run until next may? thanks to any members who can help me.

Joining now makes your membership retroactive to the start of this calendar year so you'll receive all the 2008 publications. If you're serious about joining, I highly recommend paying for three years at a time and taking advantage of the savings. That's the best option for me because I just don't have to think about my dues again but once every three years.
