Nap Lajoie and Joe Jackson

They were on the same team for a couple years, yet you dont see too many pics of each other together, even though Nap was the best on the team, prior to Joe's arrival.

was it because of Nap's influence?

Did they have any kind of relationship?

I don't know.

Lajoie was the manager of the team 1905-1909, relieved of that duty and enjoying his greatest season in 1910 when Jackson arrived midsummer. Almost inevitably he would have relationships with everyone on the team during his tenure as manager but that would not be true from 1910 on.

Probably Jackson never became as big a star as Lajoie had been, and still was when Jackson arrived.
