I'm planning to do a season replay of 1901 is Diamond Mind Baseball, but I'm trying to get the "feel" for the game in 1901. I can't replicate the lack of foul strikes in the American League, but there's other things I could do. Lots of bunting, few, if any, relievers, plenty of stolen bases, not much pinch hitting. I do have questions, though. (1) How often did teams hit and run? (2) How often was the intentional walk used? (3) What else about how the game was played in 1901 should I be aware of?
