There's Marge Schott (or is it Shott), John (?) Brush from the turn of the century, and until 1996 George Steinbrenner to add to the preliminary list. Technically wouldn't the worst owners be the ones that had to fold up shop, since that would be the ultimate failure as an owner.

I'd argue for Chris Von Der Ahe for sheer incompetence and Andrew Freedman for being pure evil. Von Der Ahe totally trashed the Cardinals through many bizarre moves (including erecting a huge statue of himself in front of the stadium) and Freedman set a standard for treating his players that probably could have sunk the NL if other owners had tried to emulate him."If I drink whiskey, I'll never get worms!" - Hack Wilson

You are all wrong
Name ANY Philly owner and they beat whoever you stated
From Horace Fogel whose paranoid rants about umpires banned him from baseball, to William F Baker who put the cheapskates to shame as he had ONE scout and used sheep to trim the grass at Baker Bowl...he also erected the wall in Baker Bowl to stop HRs and when Chuck Klein still hit them out he put a 20 foot net atop the 40 ft wall so he wouldnt have to give Klein a pay raise for more HRS to William Cox, who was banned for betting
