    thought I would look up 1964 Bill WHite, who was spoken about in October 1964 (the book) about having arm troubles the first part of 1964 then had them fixed and had a tremendous second half helping the Cards to the pennant

    I have a ton for the late 80s, but keeping with '85 and below, I'll start with '85 which is probably my specialty season:

    Wade Boggs home in '85, .418 batting average, .503 on base, .566 slugging 130 hits and 51 walks for 181 times on base.
    Boggs second half also batted .395
