    Although his best seasons offensively came when he was a 3B, his offensive numbers overall at SS are easily more impressive.

      Yeah I would rather have Rodriguez during his shortstop years. Better speed and defense.

            Let's be fair. He played shortstop when he was younger, so he would have been quicker and had more range. He also may have had ... extra help at some points. But it's of some significance that he made a position change at that stage of his career, and it wasn't necessarily to an easier position (as in, say, Ernie Banks moving from SS to 1B).
