  • Catching and pitching in a doubleheader

On the 25th of June, 1941, Phillies' player Bill Harman caught two innings of an 8-3 loss to the Cincinnatti Reds in the first game of a doubleheader. Harman then pitched in the 8th inning of the second game of the doubleheader in relief.

Have there been any other players who have caught in one game and pitched in the second game of the same doubleheader?

Don't know of anyone else in MLB, but Ted "Double Duty" Radcliffe did it regularly in the Negro Leagues. That's how he got his nickname.
They call me Mr. Baseball. Not because of my love for the game; because of all the stitches in my head.
