Kudos to the researchers at Retrosheet.org - Directory Of Major League Years. Over the past few months they have added the complete box scores for the 1915 through 1919 seasons. Play By play descriptions are available for most of these years. It means that complete boxscores are now available for the past 98 baseball seasons since 1915. It was only a few years ago that boxscores were only available from about 1954 or 1955 onwards. That means that this association's researchers have completed research and published the results of another 40 seasons worth of box scores in just the past three or four years - a praiseworthy accomplishment! In addition there are a few isolated seasons prior to 1915 where box scores are available in their entirety: the National Association's 1871, 1872 & 1874 seasons plus the major leagues season of 1911.
