The Eagles made an impresive exhibition of power, while Jared Fernandez did the usual, tying up the tigers' bats with his knucleball (even though he wasn't as effective as always, but had good backup), to pound the tigers 9-3. He pitched 6 innings, and allowed 3 earned.

The bests in the orange offense were: Bernie Castro and Victor Diaz, 3 hits each; Alberto Castillo triple and 2Rbi's; Jose Fernandez 2 hits and 2Rbi's; Miguel Tejada double and RBI.

In the losing end: Anderson Hernandez: 4-4 with 2 doubles; Erick Aybar and Napoleon Calzado a double each.

The Bulls had a huge 3rd inning where they scored 6 runs, in route of beating the lions 9-4. With that victory, the bulls now tie the tigers in 2nd place, while the lions drop to last place in the standing.

In a game that looked more like a homerun derby than a game itself, Andy Abad homered twice and drove in 4 runs to lead the tigers in their 8-6 victory over the Eagles. The win got the tigers back to first place.

The tigers had a big 5 run rally in the 1st inning against debuting MIGUEL BATISTA, who seemed out of shape. Also made their pitching debut this season for the eagles Joaquin Benoit, who pitched 2 shutout, and Wandy Rodriguez, who got the loss.

For the tigers: Abad lead the offense with 2HR and 4 RBI; Erick Aybar triple and a single; Jose Offerman and Ronnie Belliard, pair of singles each.

It sure is a different game over there. Players seem to come out of nowhere to play for teams. I know you explained in the beginning how players were tied to their origonal team, it sure is different.

Ron Belliard spoils Ortiz debut

Ron Belliard went 2-4 with a double, a homerun and 5 RBI's; and Napoleon Calzado went 4-4 and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was Manny Aybar, who pitched 5 scoreless innings, allowing just 5 hits. The attendance last night was the biggest of this whole season between any of the teams, with around 18000 fans.

For those of you wondering about how Ortiz did, he went 1-4, even though he looked well with the bat, just had bad luck and was robbed once, and then hit a foul HR in his last AB before being struck out looking.

Anderson Hernandez hit a solo shot in the top of the 11th inning, to start a 4 run rally and lead the tigers to a 6-5 victory over the bulls. Jose Offerman drove in 2 runs in the 6th, and added another RBI in the 11th to be the best in the offensive end.

Daniel Cabrera and Danny Tamayo got in an tight pitching duel!! Both came without decision. Cabrera pitched 6 innings, were he allowed 3 hits, 2ER, walked 4 and struck out 6. Danny Tamayo pitched 7 innings allowing 6 hits, 2 earned, walked one and didn't struck anyone.

The Bulls continue to dominate the Eagles in their nest, where they've won 5 out of 6 games between them played in the eagles home. Yesterday, RBI singles out of Kenny Perez and Brayan Peña against bigleaguer Miguel Batista, broke the 3-3 tie and gave the bulls the victory 5-3

Alfredo Gonzalez got the win in the relief effort, while Miguel Batista got the loss. The Eagles continue to play bad at home, where they have a negative record (2-3), while on the road they have a perfect 4-0 record.

Esteban Germán, Peña y Kenny Rogers hit 2 hits each. Eddy Garabito hit a triple.
