The Lions are back in 2nd

In a dramatic fashion, the Lions took over the Tigers in 12 innings and beat them 3-2. The game was lost by Yhency Brazoban who even though pitched for a 0, was punished by the defense with 2 errors...

The other game, started with a pitching duel between Anastacio Martinez of the Stars (1-0 0.90) and Raul Valdez of the Bulls (2-0 0.73). Both threw 7 innings and the game was tied 1-1. The bullpen of the Bulls couldn't hold the Stars, and they took the game 4-1

Major Leaguers enter the league after they rest a bit in their homes... Right know the only players we have are Pedro Feliz for the Giants, Yhency Brazoban for the Tigers, Odalis Perez for the Lions, Angel Berroa for the Bulls, among others...

By the december the likes of Pedro Martinez, Aramis Ramirez, Ronnie Belliard, Vladimir Guerrero, Luis Castillo, Cristian Guzman, all should be playing for the tigers.

David Ortiz, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Furcal, Neifi Perez should be in uniform with the Lions

Manny Ramirez, Miguel Tejada, Bartolo Colon should be in Eagles uniform.

The Giants are hoping that Jose Reyes and Albert Pujols join the team.

Robison Cano, Julio Franco, Alfonso Soriano are Stars players.

The bulls are waiting for Antonio Alfonseca...

Licey beat Eagles in front of packed stadium

In front of a sellout crowd (first of this season, and obvious, between the 2 most popular teams in the nation) the Tigers could pull of a victory against the league leaders eagles 4-3... The game was marked by constant lead changes and ties, and the tigers, after falling behind 3-2 in the top of the 8th, made 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th, to take the game... The victory was for RP Yhency Brazoban who pitched 2 scoreless innings. Here are the results

Bulls get payback... Pound Tigers at home :grouchy

In a huge game, were the Bulls scored in every inning except the 5th and the 9th, they payed back the defeat at home, and came to Santo Domingo to kill the tigers 16-4.. The winning pitcher was Jose Mercedes (2-1) pitching 5innings of 2ER... The loser Wilton Chavez (1-2) who pitched 1.1 IP with 5ER...

In Santiago, the Escogido gave the Eagles the 3rd straight loss, so now their back in 2nd...

I couldn't post yesterday's results, by the time i could get online, today's games (day games) were already done, so i'll post both together...

The tigers made 6 runs in the 6th innings, and combined with the 5th straight loss by the eagles, the tigers take sole posession of 1st place... In the mean time, the bulls, win their 3rd in a row, and now have sole posession of 4th... here are the results:

Licey celebrates it's 98th anniversary with a win

The calendar had only one game scheduled for 11/7 as usual, because the league let's licey (the oldest team in the country) take the spotlight... Yesterday the Cibao Giants were visiting, and the Tigers took the win helped by great pitching of Aaron Heilman (NYM) who's now 3-0

The game ended 5-2, with the offense coming of Willis Otañez (who's posting MVP numbers, I'll post the numbers soon) who batted 3-5, with a 2B and 3RBI

Licey hangs on, keeps streak going.

After throwing away an 8-0 lead in the first inning, the Giants could hung on, after the giants tied the game 8 a piece, with a homer off the bat of Curtis Granderson (DET), to take the game 9-8. The game was saved by Yhency Brazoban (4Sv)

In the other game, the Eagles had a 7-2 lead, and blew it, allowing 5 runs in that inning, and finally losing the game 8-7 in 12 innings. The offense was led by Abraham Nuñez who hit 2 HR's, including a 2 run shot in the bottom of the ninth to keep the game alive
