  • NPB stats please

Can someone please give me the top 20 retired leaders and top 20 active leaders in career home runs, in Japanese pro ball, please? Or at least the top ten for each? Or even a reliable source where this information is compiled?

    Thanks

    For Japanese stats, start here:
    Abe-Akai Jinno-Jozume Morino-Motoyashiki Shinozuka-Shotsu Akaike-Anabuki Kaburaki-Kakurai Mugikura-Muto Sobue-Soyogi Anan-Arai Kamada-Kanazawa Nabeshima-Naito Suda-Suguro Arai-Arito Kanbara-Kaoku Naka-Nakamoto Suhara-Suyama Asada-Azuse Karakawa-Katase Nakamura Suzaki-Suzukida Baba-Busujima Katayama-Katori Nakane-Nakazawa Tabata-Takahama Chiba-Chuma Katsuki-Kawamoto...

For the career homers, see the first category here:

I think that if you want the active leaders, your best bet would be an inquiry in the "Ask the Commish" thread at japanesebaseball.com You don't have to pay anything or give out any information to make the request.

Is Kazuhiro Kiyohara still active? I saw that he had 22 hr in 2005, and that Tuffy Rhodes had 27 in 2005. Besides that, I don't know any others who are active. I'll ask. Thanks.

Kiyohara signed with the Orix Buffaloes, one of several reclamation projects for them this year. Tuffy was injured for the last month or two of the season and has yet to sign with any team. Rumors had him signing with Orix but most free agents have already signed.
