    Darvish vs Chapman

After Chapman, Norberto Gonzalez, and another lefty to minimize the left handed bats from Japan. To close out the game, RHP Vladimir "la Bala" Garcia. Watch the Cuban manager do the opposite just like in the WBC # 1.

Ha ha ... Exactly right. (My guess is that if Cuba is smart enough to start a lefty at all, it will be a "veteran" such as Palma or Gonzalez. And the closer, of course, will be Lazo.)

        Which game is the 15th

I thought the game to watch would be opening night. I have tickets to that one, and I've been prediciting all along it may be a gold medal preview. That's Japan vs. Cuba. I can't wait for that one. I had to pick my games a long time ago, and once the schedule came out I'm very happy with mix of teams I'm going to see. Oh, I see now that Cuba vs. USA is on the 15th. I have tickets for that one too . I have Canada vs. USA tickets on the 16th, Chinese Taipei vs. Korean on the 18th, and so on...

I am so excited about these games in Beijing. I can't wait to get over there.

Of course, Palma and Gonzalez are also both coming off better seasons than Chapman, in the case of Gonzalez much better. Palma did just fine in the 2007 Pan Am Games Gold Medal game.
