The Baseball-Reference site linked to notes that he pitched "Márquez pitched for Santiago de Cuba, going 6-5 with a 6.50 ERA while in Cuba, allowing 139 hits and 41 walks in 99 2/3 IP" So not a long-time National Series pitcher but he did see some action there.

He played for the team of Havana de Cuba but as far as I know he was never in the cuban squad. He moved to Germany a couple years ago and has the german citizenship for some years.
He is the No1 Starter for the German Squad. At the EC at Barcelona he was named Best Pitcher

    Perfect game in Germany

Enorbel Márquez (http://www.baseball-reference.com/bu...norbel_Marquez) threw a perfect game in Germany this weekend, beating the Bonn Capitals 9-0 with 16 strikeouts. His battery mate was recent Mets signee Kai Gronauer.
