  • No home runs, 100 RBI

I know that Hughie Jennings once racked up 121 rbi in a season without hitting any dingers (!), I think he batted .400 that season too. Who are some other players who had 100 rbis in a season but no home runs (if there were any)?

Lave Cross, 1902 Phillies. 0 HR, 108 RBIs. .342 AVG. That's the only other one that I can see.

I checked it with Sean Lahman's statistical database. The only player in history to have 100 or more RBIs without any homers are Hughie Jennings in 1896, and Lave Cross in 1902.

        Ya' beat me to it.
        Johnson and now Goligoski gone.
        I hope that's all.

I thought I read somewhere that Earl Weaver accomplished this feat (100 RBI, No HRs) as a player in the minor leagues. I'm sure someone out there can either corroborate this or else disprove it.
