    Question about defense

    I'm trying to make all-time defensive lists for every position...

    I'm not sure about how many games will be a significant amount of games to evaluate players at their respective positions?

    At least 500 games?
    750?
    1000?

    Any idea?

    In the past I've used 800, 1200 and 1500 as cutoffs...I end to prefer the 1200 game barrier myself...

      Do you want player recommendations, or just # of games?

          With a 1200 games barrier, I don't know if there will be some big names missing?

          For example, if you make a top 10 list of best defensive third baseman of all time, you'll be confortable with a pool of only 63 players with 1200+ games (at third base) to choose from?
