Studes put up the data that he uses in Hardball Times a few months ago:

I will note that THT's version of Win Shares is slightly different from Bill James'.

Yeah, I wonder why nobody has done it yet. The numbers are out there, it's just a matter of putting them into a computer.

I don't know of any. I believe the newest edition of Total Baseball has Win Shares for every player, every season though.
If you really are interested in the Win Shares system, I would recommend buying Win Shares it gives a good, thorough explanation of the system and gives Win Shares for every player every season, although it is by team so you have to know what team the player played for in a given year. James has a section with articles which apply the system to certain interesting questions, and shares the results. It also gives lots of subsequent reference sections such as Win Shares by decade, Win Shares Gold Gloves for every position by year, Win Shares MVPs, and Win Shares batter of the year, plus even more.Last edited by 538280; 01-17-2006, 01:45 PM.

Win Shares Spreadsheet?
Does anyone know if there's a Win Shares spreadsheet similar to Lahman's Archives? I want to be able to compare players easily, which I don't think I'd be able to do if I just bought Bill James's Win Shares.Tags: None
