Most Appearances on Offense

It might be interesting to look at offense besides runs. Who put the most men in the batter's box?

Which team has the record for most team PAs in a season? Per game? I was wondering if anyone could relay these. (what about men reaching on error, how do they factor in?)

And maybe fewest outs in a season?

Of course there's a distinction between 154 and 162 games, and maybe even +/- 3 like happened sometimes in the old days.

The top 50 teams per game all played before the 20th century.

If we start at 1901 then the team with the most PA per game is the 1931 Yankees followed by the 1936 Yankees, then the 1950 Red Sox, the 1936 White Sox, the 1935 Senators and then the 2003 Boston Red Sox.

For raw totals 9 out of the top 10 teams all played in the 2000's and that does not include the 2005 data which I have not downloaded yet. #1 being the 2003 Red Sox followed by the 2004 Red Sox.
