why so expensive?
I've got a question regarding the 8th edition - I somehow slipped and never picked up the 8th edition. I have all the rest - noticed on Amazon it's incredibly expensive used - what makes it so expensive?

-some content
-just being the last edition published
-something else

I wasn't asking where I could get a copy, I was wondering what exactly makes it so expensive???

I think it was due to the cost to produce. It was bigger (& heavier) than previous editions. It also included a number of photos that didn't appear in earlier editions.Comment

Rather than start a new string I thought I would just add on here. I was contemplating picking up the 3rd edition of the minor league encyclopedia. I have seen no reviews of it and am wondering if it is worth that kind of money.
I am a minor league franchise nut. I picked up the second edition realy cheaply a few years ago and am wondering if there is that much new in this one that I can't find online.
