It's such a great baseball experience. The leval of play is very good, the parks are beautiful. Players hustle & play hurt. Fans cheer and have fun. Parking at Citi is free. Soda, beer, hot dogs, ice cream etc... are dirt cheep. Your right on top of the action; you can hear the ball hitting the catchers mitt & hitting the bat. You can hear the ump, the players yelling "I got it". (in short - you can hear the sounds of the game). If you go early, the kids can hang over the railing and get as many autographs as they want AND talk to the players !
No attitudes, no styling, no prima-donna's, just grown men busting their butt on every play so they don't lose their job to somebody who hustles more.
I've always figured this is what it may have been like in MLB during the 30's, 40's etc..., that this is the atmosphere that made baseball America's most popular sport, second to none.
Independent/minor league baseball is awsome !
