So does anyone know what's going to happen with the field down in Ozark? I'm guessing no other minor league team is going to move there since the Cards are in Springfield and with SMS (or maybe just MS I can't keep up) moving their games out of there it seems like its just going to go to waste.

Also are the Ohio Valley team playing in the same place now they that they were before?

This is the year I really hope to take the 90-minute scenic drive to Chillicothe, Ohio to see the Paints. I've been wanting to do that for awhile, but have not had the chance.

It's too bad I missed out on Zanesville, entirely.

I have a whole gallery devoted to Zanesville's Gant Stadium on my website. I photographed the Paints last season as well, but they are coming in a future series.

By the way, you know we gave the award for ballpark of the year to the Gateway Grizzlies right? It was on the front page of their website and the front page of the Frontier League's homepage for over a month.

No before they played in Parkersburg, WV at Bennett Stump Field. Now the new Redcoats play at Loeb Stadium in Lafayette, IN.

Hey, Digital Ballparks are you planning to get any pics of the new park in Florence? I have only been to GMC Stadium and T.R. Hughes Ballpark. I love the photos of the parks on your site.

Also I visited Tim's FL History Page. Wow that is a great site. Love the logos from all the past teams.

Bigtime trade!!! Got this off the Redcoats new site.

EVANSVILLE, IN – The Evansville Otters and Ohio Valley Redcoats have completed a seven player deal marking the largest player swap in Otters history.

Evansville acquires the contracts of catchers John Spencer and Jud Kindle, OF Josh Wettlaufer, and pitcher Mike Schaefer from Ohio Valley in exchange for first baseman Jim Lipinski, catcher Andrew Ginther, and pitcher Kurt Watzek.

We haven't been there yet, but the Owner of Florence's baseball team has invited us out there. We just haven't gotten the chance to get out to Kentucky yet.

The ballpark that the Redcoats will be using however, Loeb Stadium, we filmed last season. (We had no idea it was going to be used this season, we just photographed it, thinking of it as an old minor league park). It will appear soon. The Red Coats also will be playing in other places besides Loeb. Expect home games to occur in 3 different locations.

Hey Dizzy, do you know where I can find stats on the Independent players of the past?...the ones who are either in the Minors,Majors or retired? You can also add the current players as well. This would include the Frontier League. Any help would be appreciated.
