DIII players in the majors

Most players are obviously DI and HS players. Do you know any DIII college players that became good major leaguers?

Terry Mullholland, Kent Tekulve and Jim Tracy are all alumni of this years D3 champion Marietta College.

Mullholland and submariner Tekulve were fun to watch. I liked Mullholland from the get-go, because you could tell who he was from his name on the back of his jersey from the cheap seats.

Kirby Puckett was drafted from Triton College, a two year school near Chicago, but had attended DI Bradley before that.
Dan Quisenberry went to DIII University of La Verne.
These were just two guys off the top of my head, I'm sure there are a lot more.

As metrotheme previously noted, one present-day player who comes to mind is Chris Denorfia from Wheaton.
He's had a few pretty nice seasons in a row now for the Padres.

according to this site 15 Players from D3 were drafted in 2014. 15 is a good number but there were over 1200 Players selected so only a tiny fraction were d3 Players (less than 1%). interestingly 11 of those Players were pitchers and just 4 Position Players.

Jordan Zimmermann and Billy Wagner are the two best off the top of my head.

Dan Pasqua played at William Paterson in New Jersey. It's in one of the top D3 conferences in the country - the NJAC. Ramapo, from the NJAC, got to the D3 world series this year, and they've had several of their schools get there and even win it over the past 30 years or so - Kean, Ramapo, William Paterson, Montclair State and Rowan have all won the D3 championship at least once in the past 30 or so years. Kean has been to the world series like 3 or 4 times in the past 7 or 8 years.
