Most players are obviously DI and HS players. Do you know any DIII college players that became good major leaguers?

Kirby Puckett was drafted from Triton College, a two year school near Chicago, but had attended DI Bradley before that.
Dan Quisenberry went to DIII University of La Verne.

found a nice site to bump this old thread
according to this site 15 Players from D3 were drafted in 2014. 15 is a good number but there were over 1200 Players selected so only a tiny fraction were d3 Players (less than 1%). interestingly 11 of those Players were pitchers and just 4 Position Players.I now have my own non commercial blog about training for batspeed and power using my training experience in baseball and track and field.

Dan Pasqua played at William Paterson in New Jersey. It's in one of the top D3 conferences in the country - the NJAC. Ramapo, from the NJAC, got to the D3 world series this year, and they've had several of their schools get there and even win it over the past 30 years or so - Kean, Ramapo, William Paterson, Montclair State and Rowan have all won the D3 championship at least once in the past 30 or so years. Kean has been to the world series like 3 or 4 times in the past 7 or 8 years.
