Its about that time again, for major league and minor league teams to pair off for the next at least 2 seasons. This year should be pretty quiet for changes especially at the upper levels.

    AAA
Buffalo Bisons - Mets - Blue Jays
Las Vegas 51's - Blue Jays - Mets

The Scranton-Wilkes/Barre Yankees will also be getting a new nickname.

    AA
    No Changes at this level

    High A
    No changes at this level

    Low A
    Beloit Snappers - Twins - A's
    Burlington Bees - A's - Angels
Cedar Rapids Kernels - Angels - Twins
Kane County Cougars - Royals - Cubs
Lexington Legends - Astros - Royals
Peoria Chiefs - Cubs - Cardinals
Quad Cities River Bandits - Cardinals - Astros

    Short Season
Batavia Muckdogs - Cardinals - Marlins
    Jamestown Jammers - Marlins- Pirates
State College Spikes - Pirates - Cardinals
Yakima Bears - Dbacks - Hillsboro Hops - Dbacks

    Rookie
There will be no changes at this level.

When teams re-sign I will probably just delete them from this list, but if they change parent clubs that will updated here.

Rumors here in Buffalo are that the Bisons are all but signed with Toronto. There was open talk that their last home game was the last game with the Mets. The Bisons/Mets marriage hasn't been good for Buffalo. Hopefully things will be better with the Jays.

From what I understand/hear it'll be the Binghamton Mets relocating to Ottawa with a current NY-Penn League team then being purchased and moved to Binghamton.

The Atlanta Braves, Mandalay Baseball Properties and the city of Wilmington, NC have agreed to terms on a lease for a proposed stadium in Wilmington to move the Lynchburg Hillcats to. The ballpark still has to be approved by local voters.

The St. Louis Cardinals sign with the State College Spikes in the New York Penn League. They had previously been with the Batavia Muckdogs.

The Twins and the Cedar Rapids Kernels are discussing a deal at the A level.

The Blue Jays and Buffalo Bisons are also officially discussing a deal and a deal seems like just a matter of time.

Sucks for the Mets - they get the affiliation with Vegas that nobody ever wants.

The Mets accept their fate early and sign with the Las Vegas 51s before the Blue Jays and Buffalo Bisons make it offical. In other AAA news PCL president Branch Rickey, Jr. says if the El Paso city council does not approve funding for a new ballpark this week the Tucson Padres will move on and try to find a new city to move to. Since the Padres were forced out of Portland (then the Beavers) by the MLS' Timber they have been scheduled to move to Escondino Beach, CA and now El Paso with Tucson supposed to be a temporary home.

                      Rumors for single A:
Early rumors linked the Cubs with the Kane County Cougars but some are pointing out that with the former Padre presence in their front office they may try to pick up the Fort Wayne Tincaps instead. The Royals are said to be looking at going to the Lexington Legends. The Cardinals-River Bandits, A's-Bees and Twins-Snappers realtionships are all expected to end.

EDIT: Well just a couple hours later so I'll edit this one instead of posting a new one. So much for those Fort Wayne and Cubs rumors as the Tincaps re-up with the Padres. Also the Jamestown Jammers have signed on with the Pirates. This could leave the Marlins in Batavia or out of the NYPL.

The Cardinals have signed on with the Peoria Chiefs in the Midwest League leaving behind the Quad Cities River Bandits. The Chiefs had been with the Cubs since 2005 and were a Cardinals affiliate in 1953-1956 and 1995-2004.

The Lexington Legends will announce their new parent team tomorrow.

Yes they do and the Cedar Rapids Kernels have signed with the Twins. If the Royals do go to Lexington and the A's do leave the Bees that will leave the Astros, A's and Angels left to fight over Burlington, Beloit and Quad Cities.
