I didn't see this answer. Sorry, guys. It is the Georgia Peach who is the other autograph.

Hank Greenberg? He was known to have been supportive of Robinson due to the discrimination and bigotry he felt.

didn't someone already say cobb though? I noticed you didn't reply to it... is that because it was right or because you just didn't see it... anyway, give credit to wamby if this is correct

Maybe Ty Cobb? :noidea He's like Anson, isn't he? And he's definitely a top tier HoF'er. And he played before slaughter

I would immediately have said willie mays upon reading this for the first time, but he definitely was not like cap anson and he was black... although he is a top tier HoF'er

Not Williams. Williams, as you recall, was instrumental in getting black players into the HoF as full members. Thus Williams was more like Happy Chandler than Cap Anson and my guy is much more like Anson.

I'll take one more guess. The first name that popped in my mind was Ted Williams. I have no idea why(unless its my knack for wrong guesses)

I like Ike, but it is not him. The other autograph is of a deceased white player who is a member, as a player, of the baseball HoF. A top tier guy.

I'd guess Eisenhower might be in some Hall of Fame?
The ball must be a sign of triumph for blacks since it's in a museum.
The five would probably have been together to sign it since it's so cherished.
The fifth signee could have been someone who would have drawn a crowd and pretty had to sign it?

    Any chance it was Ike?

Well, he's not in the Cooperstown Hall of Fame, but... J. L. Wilkinson?

Not Toni Stone. It is a man, just not one of color.
