    Mike Piazza, in the span of exactly nine days in May of 1998, played for the Dodgers, Marlins, and Mets–he was traded twice in 10 days.

    At least one other pretty famous player has had this happen to him as well within the same length of time. Can you name the player(s) ?

    Hint: the one I'm thinking of holds a VERY long-standing record that was chased and very nearly broken within the past 15 years by a Hall of Famer.

    bumping with hint: the record-holder in question was from the 19th century, and his record is a rather dubious one
