  • ITT: We Count from 0-99... Using MLB Jersey Numbers. Rules in OP.

What it says on the tin. Rules:
    • Both past and current players are allowed as answers.
    • You must give the answer for the next number in sequential order. No skipping around.
    • If you answer with a player who wore a number that he was not well-known for, you must specify when he wore it, or at least a time when he wore it (example: Roger Clemens is probably most well-known for wearing #21, but he also wore #22 as a Yankee and Astro. Exact years not necessary.)
    • The player must have worn the number in Major League Baseball, during the regular season.
    • Once a player is named, no repeating him later (can't answer Clemens for 22 after someone names him for 21, for example. Or 12.)
    • no searching.
I realize that this might get really hard at a point. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. (And, since I already used him as an example, Roger Clemens is not allowed as an answer from this point on.)

I will begin with Al Oliver (post-Pittsburgh), for #0. Next poster answers with #1.

Sounds like fun. I'm a jersey number nerd, so I should be good at this.
